🐎 30-Minute Horseback Tour – Under the Rocks
Perfect for beginners, families, and those with limited time, this 30-minute tour gives you a magical introduction to horseback riding in Meteora. The tour begins at our stables, where you’ll be matched with one of our friendly, well-trained horses and given a short safety briefing by your guide.
From there, we set off on a peaceful trail that winds beneath the towering rock formations of Meteora. The path is easy and flat, making it ideal for first-time riders and children. Along the way, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the landscape, a rich tapestry of green fields, rocky peaks, and open skies.

Our most popular experience, the 1-hour Nature Ride takes you deeper into the stunning trails beneath Meteora’s rock pillars. This tour is ideal for travelers looking to immerse themselves in nature and enjoy a relaxing yet adventurous horseback journey.
We begin at our base near Kalambaka, where you’ll meet your horse and guide. After a short orientation, we head off along scenic paths that wind through open fields, pine trees, and olive groves, with the awe-inspiring cliffs of Meteora rising dramatically above.
Throughout the ride, your guide will share insights about the local area, flora, and geology. You’ll also have opportunities to stop for photos and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere – the sound of hooves on the trail, birds in the trees, and the whisper of wind against the rocks.

Our signature tour is a true adventure: a 2.5-hour guided ride through the forests and foothills of Meteora with a stop at the historic Varlaam Monastery. This experience blends natural beauty, cultural heritage, and the timeless joy of horseback riding.
The journey begins at our ranch, where you’ll be paired with a suitable horse and equipped for the trail. Our experienced guide will lead you through quiet dirt paths, pine woods, and rocky clearings with spectacular views of the Meteora landscape. As you ride deeper into nature, you’ll feel transported to another era.
Midway through the tour, we stop at a viewpoint overlooking the Varlaam Monastery, one of the most iconic of the Meteora monasteries. Here, you’ll have time to rest, take photos, and learn about the spiritual history of this sacred site.
